Spring Fever!

This weekend's gorgeous weather caused me to have a bit of spring fever!! I even took George to the park with my friend Candice and her little girl Lola Grace. The kids had a ball swinging, strolling, and looking at the ducks. I am so ready for spring.

Eventful Weekend

This weekend was very busy for me but also tons of fun. Friday night was Tupelo's Junior Auxiliary Charity Ball. We went with a group of our friends and had a blast.

Jamie, Mary Stewart, and I

Rebecca and I at the charity ball. These were the only two pictures I got from the night. I am so bad about not taking pictures when I get to any kind of wedding or event. I go in with great intentions and then barely even think about snapping a picture. Oh well, at least I got a couple from the night.
Saturday night I went to Memphis with a group of my girlfriends from college to see Jersey Boys at the Orpheum. It was so much fun to see everyone, but this time, I did even worse with the picture taking. I ended up taking only one picture at dinner of Haaga and me (which I am so glad I got because she and I have not made a picture in way too long) . I miss all my sweet friends so much, so I really enjoyed the much needed girls night.

A fun day for George

George went to a one year old birthday party for his little friend Sadie Roper on Saturday at this place called "Go" we have in Tupelo. "Go" is this gym like place where kids can go and do rock wall climbing, gymnastic type things, and anything else that involves mats and games, etc. They do a really great job with birthday parties, and George had sooo much fun playing with everything in the entire gym. The above picture was of the last party George was invited to at "Go" when he was about five months old I think. He couldn't even sit up yet. Things were a little different this time.....
in a tent with lots of static in his hair

He was the only baby who refused to sit still for even thirty seconds to take a picture. He was way too busy for that kind of thing.

Needless to say, a nap was in order when we got home.
These pics aren't from the party; they are just some cute ones from that day.
George has learned to steer his little push car and pushes it all over our house while making his little Vrrooomm sound. It's so funny.

Not a George post but worth mentioning I think.

This year our school district adopted a 1:1 Macintosh laptop initiative. Our district had a big assembly before Christmas where they announced we would be getting these computers, and the seniors got theirs this week. I teach seniors, and they are the only students who get their computers this school year. The other schools and grades will get their computers at the beginning of next school year. It is really amazing to see all my seniors using Macbooks in class. I guess I have a 21st century classroom now!! I thought they looked cool and smart with their computers, so I snapped a picture to share with the blogging world.

George and Carter learn to play....kind of

He thinks Carter would look cute in his daddy's Cardinals hat.
How sweet are they?

laughing hysterically because I was tickling them
He decided he needed a rest, and that poor Carter made a good chair. Poor little thing. I have a feeling it won't be long before she retaliates.
I just threw this one in because it was cute. He loves, loves, loves a bath.

Jimbo and Caroline's Wedding

Our dear friends Caroline McNeel and Jimbo Hearnsberger got married at the end of January. Bailey and Jimbo were roomates in college and Sigma Chis together. Bailey was in the wedding, and it was such a fun weekend. Caroline was a beautiful bride, and everything about the wedding and the reception was beautiful. Congrats to the Hearnsbergers!!! Here are some pics from the big day.

So great to see college friends!!!
And it's always good to see Sara!!
