George and the great outdoors.

George has not been able to spend a lot of time outside due to the frigid weather we have had since he was born. So we have really enjoyed the last few days that have topped out at 70 degrees. We strolled twice this week, and of course being the overprotective mom that I am, I bundled the little guy up in what looks like snow gear. Bless his heart, he was probably sweating. I just didn't want him to get cold. I took some cute pictures of him with Bailey's mom outside on the swing. I think he was enjoying being outside. I am so ready for springtime!

Busy weekend!

I haven't posted in a while because George has been keeping us pretty busy. We also had our first weekend out of town away from him this weekend. It was nice to have a break, but I started to miss him very quickly. We went to Memphis Friday night for a shower for Holly and Luke. Holly is Bailey's sister, and she is having a baby girl in May. We are so excited for them. It is so neat that George and their little girl (Carter) will be in the same grade. It will also be fun because Holly and Luke live in our neighborhood, so George and Carter will be big buddies.
Saturday night we went to Corinth for Wesley Stockton's engagement party. He and Laurie are good friends of ours, and we used to hang out with them all the time when we live in Madison . We miss seeing them and are glad we got to visit with them this weekend. It was also great to see Sara Beth and some of our other Corinth friends we haven't seen in a while.
George stayed at my parents' house all weekend, and on Sunday it was a beautiful day. George was also having a really alert and happy day, so we dressed him up and took a million pictures of him. I didn't post them all, but included the best ones. He is still growing really fast. He is almost too tall for all of his newborn size clothes. Some of his footed pj's are three month size. I can't believe how much he keeps growing and changing.

One of George's favorite things is for me to change his diaper or his clothes. He just sits and stares and kicks his legs. Sometimes he smiles. He enjoys his nude time.
Bailey says he looks like a gangster here. Bless his heart. That was not my intention for this picture. I just thought it was a cute little hoodie.

Sara Beth is always bringing us happies from her mother's store Ginger's in Cornith. Last night she brought us this neck pillow. It really helps his little head stay up in his car seat and bouncy chair. It looks pretty funny though.

Enjoying a night out.

It was good to see Helen and Ricky.
